Adelaide Schools introduces Tambrey Primary School in Karratha, for all your education and learning for your childs future, We invite you to explore and learn more about the quality 21st Century education with Tambrey Primary School.
Kindergarten and Pre Primary are deemed to be pre compulsory years of schooling and as such, the enrolment capacity for each is capped in schools. Tambrey Primary School has capacity for 80 Kindergarten and 77 Pre Primary students. Applications for Kinergarten and Pre Primary enrolment are called for in Term 3 and places are offered to students based on a priority system, which works as follows:
Priority 1 - Students within the local intake area, with siblings already enrolled, who live closer to the school.
Priority 2 - Students within the local intake area, without siblings enrolled, who live closer to the school.
Priority 3 - Students outside the local intake area, with siblings already enrolled, who live closer to the school.
Priority 4 - Students outside the local intake area, without siblings enrolled, who live closer to the school.
Students who do not gain entry into a Kindergarten or Pre Primary class have the ability to apply to alternative schools in the area, or to remain on a wait list at their preferred school. Parents are advised that the priorities listed above also apply to the wait list and it is not a 'first in - best dressed' system. For example, a vacancy can be given to a Priority 1 student on a wait list, even if a Priority 3 student has been on the wait list for a longer period of time.
Welcome to Tambrey Primary School one of the popular educators in your Karratha area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other's uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
