The school was named after Frank Millar, a local from the Pilbara who dug wells during the days of cattle droving.
Today, Millars Well PS is one of six primary schools in Karratha. There are currently 348 students enrolled and 22 teachers employed at the school.
The school consists of an Early Childhood Teaching Centre, a Junior/Middle Primary Teaching block and a Senior Primary Teaching block. We have a brand new Performing Arts area, two large undercover areas and recently resurfaced netball and basketball courts.
Welcome to Millars Well Primary School one of the popular educators in your Karratha area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other's uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
