Roseworth Primary School commenced its operations in 2008 as a result of the amalgamation of Montrose Primary School and Hainsworth Primary School. The amalgamation created the opportunity for funding to be provided for new school facilities to be constructed for the two school communities. The completion date for the new facilities is Term 4 2009. In the interim period, Roseworth Primary School is operating from the existing facilities previously utilised by Hainsworth Primary School. Some minor renovations were undertaken to the Hainsworth facilities to cater for the increased student population including the creation of an Education Support facility and the addition of transportable classrooms and office space. The new Roseworth Primary School facilities are to be constructed on the vacated Montrose Primary School site and will result in classroom and administration facilities second to none.
