The school maintains a behaviour management philosophy which determines the way behaviour is managed at this school. The details are set out in Appendix 1 of the Policy and Procedure Statements.

Bridgetown High School works hard to maintain a friendly, supportive and harassment free environment. To help achieve these aims our two values of Seek the Bestand Respect are emphasised. Behaviour Management issues are managed by the Deputy Principal who has responsibility for ensuring that the policy is adhered to and to lead the staff in further developments.

The school community has developed three Rights for students and teaching staff,which can be seen on page 6. We also use a written incident report form to ensure that all students have a fair opportunity to present their point of view. Any conflicts are attempted to be resolved in a way that respects the rights of all sides, whilst ensuring that all parties are responsible for their own behaviour and generating solutions.
