Adelaide Schools introduces Mullaloo Beach Primary School in Mullaloo, for all your education and learning needs.
Mullaloo Beach Primary School was opened in 1986 as a result of the growing population trends in the expanding northern coastal corridor approximately 25km north of the Perth city centre. We are only 400m east of Mullaloo Beach. It is one of two primary schools in Mullaloo and caters for a mainly middle-class parent population living in medium to high quality housing.
The original school logo was agreed on when the school first opened in 1986. It was decided that this seahorse logo best reflected the feeling of Mullaloo. Our choice of school colours (blue and yellow) signifies the ocean and the beach. A motto was added in 1999. This was open to all families to make a suggestion. The winning motto, "Honesty, Respect, Knowledge" came from the Bailey family.
At the commencement of 2011 the school's enrolment stood at 240 children from Kindergarten to Year 7 in fourteen purpose built classrooms, a central library and a fully enclosed assembly area. Recently, through the federal governments "Building the Education Revolution" initiative the school gained 4 classes adding to it's early childhood program as well as adding specialist music and art facilities to its already quality infrastructure.
The school community provide excellent support through a vibrant Parent & Citizens' Association and through representation on the School Council. The encouragement of parents to be actively involved in all aspects of their child's learning is supported by the Continual Reporting Process and the open door communication practices adopted by the school.
Welcome to Mullaloo Beach Primary School one of the popular educators in your Mullaloo area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other's uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
