Pat Wright OAM and Lee Day have been teaching swimming for over 40 years and has a vast experience from babies through to adults. Pat and Lee's qualifications are of high standards and this extends through to their teaching staff which are qualified swimming coaches or AUSTSWIM accredited for Learn to Read More...Swim and in most cases holding both qualifications. Pat Wright Swim School is an accredited Swim Australia swim school. The School has 2 indoor, heated pools - a 25m training pool and a 14m hydro pool. Water Education includes: Water Awareness 4-12 months (Level 1.1) Water Confidence 12-24 months (Level 1.2) Water Discovery 2-3 years (Level 1.3). Learn to Swim includes: LTS Beginner (Level 2.1) Confident Beginner (Level 2.2) Advanced Beginner (Level 2.3) Advanced LTS (Level 3.1) Squad includes: Transition (Level 4.0) Mini Squad (Level 4.1 & 4.2) Development Squad (Level 4.3) Junior Squad (North Queensland) Senior Squad (State and National) Adult Fitness includes squad training for adult swimmers, ranging from Learn to Swim to Masters. Pat Wright and Lee Day are life members of the Australian Teachers and Coaches Association, North Queensland Swimming Association, Royal Life Saving Society Qld, Swimming Queensland, Mackay Swimming Academy and North Queensland Games. Pat was given an OAM for her contribution toward swimming in 1990 and is a Gold License Coach with ASCTA. Lee is a Silver License Coach and several staff hold Junior Squad and Assistant coaches licenses. Staff are Austswim qualified or working towards the qualification and have Blue Cards.
