Ironbark Riding Centre Most kids want to own a horse and go riding through the bush, and at the Ironbark Riding School their every wish can be granted. Phillip Gahan, with over 20 years experience with horses, including pony club, camp drafting, cutting, cross country and show jumping, plus the Australian Horsemanship Safety Certificate under his belt, and wife Rebecca now operating the Ironbark Riding School. Its a real family affair, and as experience equates with safety and commonsense, the horses and your childrens safety are in good hands. Even the horses are a big part of the family; theres Woody,(who is everyones favourite) Dusty, Copper, Buck, Suzie, Bullet, Lucy and Spero, who is 38 years old and still enjoying his working life just to name a few. Ironbark offers something for everyone. If you have never sat on a horse, there is a short lesson before you take the reins and go out for a trail ride. If you have been riding for years you can enjoy the beauty of the Ironstone reserve as you canter along its many trails. Trail rides range from a half hour to a full day with a picnic lunch supplied. Or how about taking a pub ride? Leaving the centre and riding to the Allies hotel for lunch and drinks. Other services include, saddle club, pony parties, pony rides, private lessons and the ever popular school holiday program.
