Adelaide Schools introduces St Stephen's School in Algester, for all your education and learning needs.

St Stephen's School opened its doors for the first time in 2004, to serve the families of Algester and the surrounding suburbs.

Our supportive Catholic school environment nurtures and challenges children as they develop in all areas of the curriculum.

St Stephen's School provides education for children from Prep to Year 7. According to our master plan, St Stephen's will eventually become a three-stream primary (Prep to Year 7) school catering for approximately 600 children.

Our educational program is centred on an outcomes-based curriculum which is responsive to the spiritual, social, emotional, physical, academic, creative and cultural developmental needs of your child. We plan for both self-directed and teacher-directed learning experiences which are meaningful, active, play-based, flexible, integrated, challenging, open-ended and responsive to the needs, interests and potential of each individual.

In accordance with the Brisbane Catholic Education Guidelines, we aim to build “foundations for learning which are life long and life giving”.
