The Triana Flamenco Dance Studio was established in 1995 and is the most experienced and longest running Spanish and Flamenco Dance School in South Australia. It is the home of authentic flamenco and believes in carrying on the tradition of gypsy flamenco, which comes from Andaluc�­a in the south of Spain. The School offers classes at all levels for adults from beginners to advanced and gives the advanced students the opportunity to perform. No partner is needed; the dance can cater for all ages and Rumba fiesta classes are held for students who just want flamenco movement without the complication of feet. Flamenco dance assists posture, improves rythm and helps fitness. Veronica Vargas Director of the School is a nationally acknowledged flamenco dancer and choreographer. She draws her inspiration from her many years and experiences living and working in Spain, particularly in Seville. With studios in Prospect and Klemzig students are provided with caring stress-free learning. A Flamenco guitarist accompany classes and for added authenticity, a gypsy flamenco singer is called in to sing for students when their choreographies are complete.
